Neelkanth Handling Agency is situated at B. B. Z. -s-60, right near Zanda Chowk. Gandhidham-Kachchh is a place that never really sleeps because of all the cargo movement. We have been working out of this office for quite some time. It is a functional space, nothing more. We have some filing cabinets that are overstuffed and a few computers that have seen better days. Our job is mostly about handling the details that people do not see. There is a lot of coordination involved with the different parties at the port. We do not spend money on fancy decorations or polished floors. The air smells like salt and diesel most of the time. We know all the regular faces around the chowk. Sometimes the work is slow, and other times it is so busy we forget to eat lunch. It is a lot of checking documents and making sure everything matches up. We do not have a mission statement or anything like that posted on the walls. We just come in, do the work, and go home. If someone needs something handled, they just walk in and ask. There is always a pot of tea going somewhere nearby. It is a plain way of working, but it is how things get done in this town. We just keep our heads down and focus on the daily tasks at the agency without any fuss or fancy talk.
