Uma Shakti Cargo & Logistics

We've been at Office No. 01 in Lilahsha Nagar for a while now. It’s a busy spot on Plot No. 92 and 93/4. Mostly, our days are spent on the phone or looking at clipboards. Running Uma Shakti Cargo & Logistics means we deal with a lot of trucks and drivers coming in and out at odd hours. It’s not a fancy job, just moving stuff from one point to another without too much trouble. Sometimes the weather makes things hard, or a truck gets a flat, and then we're all scrambling to figure it out. Our office is pretty small, but it gets the job done. We’ve got a couple of desks and a lot of files. Most of our neighbors around here are also in some kind of trade, so it’s always loud with the sound of engines. We started this because we knew the roads and the routes. It’s just us here, making sure the cargo gets where it needs to be. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably see someone drinking tea and checking a manifest. It’s hard work, and the traffic around here can be a real pain in the afternoon, but we manage. We’ve seen the area change over the years. We just keep doing what we do every day. It’s mostly about keeping track of the boxes and the timing. That's pretty much our life at the office.
