Kutch Coal Carbonisation Pvt. Ltd. operates out of Rishabh Corner, specifically units 12-13 at Plot No. 93 in Sector-8, Gandhidham. Working with coal is a messy business, and there’s really no way to avoid the black dust that seems to settle on everything in the office. Our location in Gandhidham is right in the middle of all the industrial action, which makes it easier for the trucks to come and go. The climate here is pretty harsh, and the salt air from the coast doesn't do any favors for the equipment or the building. Inside, you’ll find a couple of desks piled high with paperwork and invoices that we’re always trying to catch up on. We have a few guys out back who handle the actual carbonisation process, and they’re usually covered in soot by the time their shift ends. It’s hard work and the heat from the ovens can get pretty intense during the summer months. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting room, just a few sturdy chairs and a ceiling fan that works most of the time. People come here because they need fuel for their own factories, and we just provide what we can based on what is available. We’ve been in Sector-8 for years and the neighbors are all doing similar industrial stuff, so we all just get along and mind our own business while the coal gets processed and shipped out.
