Working in shipping in Gandhidham means things are always moving. We are located at Madhav Palace, right across from the Chamber of Commerce in Sector 8. It’s a good spot because everything important in the port town is pretty close by. Surya Shipping Services handles the logistics and the practical side of getting goods from one place to another. We spend a lot of time on Plot No 55, making sure the paperwork is right and the containers are moving. Kachchh is a rugged place, and the work reflects that. It's not a desk job where you just sit around. There is always a phone ringing or someone coming in with a delivery schedule. We have a small office at 101 Madhav Palace where we manage the details. It gets hot here, but we keep the fans going and get through the logs. Most of our day is spent dealing with customs, transport, and scheduling. We don't have a big corporate manual. We just know how the port works and how to get things through the system. If you know the area near the Chamber of Commerce, you’ve probably walked past our door. We've been part of this community for a while now, just handling the shipping needs of whoever walks in. It’s busy, it’s a bit messy sometimes, but that’s the nature of the shipping business in Gandhidham. We take the work as it comes and try to stay organized.
