Natraj Shipping is located at Sunder Park, specifically room 310 on Tagore Road. If you know Sector-8, you know it’s a lot of trucks and movement. We’ve been operating out of Plot No. 95 for a while now. Shipping is a messy business with a lot of waiting around for ports and containers. Our office is mostly filled with the sound of phones ringing and printers spitting out customs forms. We deal with cargo going all over, and sometimes things get delayed, which is just part of the deal. We don’t try to sugarcoat it; moving stuff across oceans is complicated. The staff here is small. We’ve got a couple of guys who have been in the industry since before computers were in every office. They know the shortcuts and the headaches better than anyone. Tagore Road gets really dusty with all the traffic, so we’re constantly wiping down the desks. It’s not a quiet place. There is always someone shouting about a bill of lading or a truck that’s stuck somewhere. We started this because we knew the routes and we knew the people at the docks. We just keep things moving as best as we can. It’s practical work. No one here wears a tie unless they absolutely have to for a meeting. We just want to make sure the boxes get where they need to go without too much trouble.
