Pooja Roadways

Pooja Roadways is located in the Kutch Arcade Platinum Building. We are in office number 111. The building is right near the Gandhidham railway crossing, so we hear the trains going by all the time. It’s a noisy spot but it’s easy for drivers to find us when they come into town. We’ve been running this roadways business for a good number of years. It’s mostly about managing the fleet and making sure the guys on the road have what they need for their trips. The office is usually a bit of a mess with logbooks and receipts everywhere. We don't really care much about how the place looks as long as the work gets done. My nephew helps me with the accounts, and we have a few others who handle the dispatching. Dealing with the railway crossing traffic can be a pain during the busy hours, but you get used to it after a while. We don't try to sound like a big fancy corporation because we aren't. We are just a local transport shop. Some days are stressful when there’s a lot of cargo to move and not enough hands, but we manage. If you need to find us, just look for the Platinum Building near the tracks. We are usually there from early morning until late evening, depending on how many trucks are coming in. It’s just the way we do things here in Gandhidham-kachchh. We keep it simple.
