Malara Sea Logistics

Our office is at G-25 in the GIDC area of Gandhidham. It’s a place that smells like the sea and diesel. Malara Sea Logistics has been operating from here for quite some time, right in the heart of the logistics hub. Gandhidham is always moving, and so are we. The phones ring a lot, and there is always someone coming in with a stack of papers or a delivery note. It’s not the quietest office you’ll ever visit. We have maps on the walls and a lot of empty tea cups sitting around on the desks. We spend a lot of time talking to drivers and making sure the timing is right for the ships. Sometimes things go wrong, a truck breaks down or the port is backed up, and we have to scramble to fix it. That's just part of the deal when you work in sea logistics. The furniture is a bit old and the air conditioner makes a rattling noise, but it keeps the room cool enough to work. We don’t go in for big speeches or polished presentations. We just want to make sure the cargo gets where it needs to go. The dust from the salt flats nearby sometimes drifts in through the windows if we leave them open. It's a busy, unglamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. We just keep our heads down and handle the paperwork as it comes through the door.
