This office is located at 222 Mani Complex, over on Plot No. 84 in Sector 8. Gandhidham-Kachchh is a place that revolves around the port, and we are right in the middle of that action. Our room is usually full of the sound of phones ringing and the hum of the ceiling fan. It is a practical space for shipping services. We don't have any big decorations on the walls, just a few calendars and some schedules pinned up. The desks are covered in documents because shipping involves a huge amount of paper. It gets quite dusty here because of the dry climate in Kachchh, so we are constantly wiping down the keyboards. We spend a lot of time talking to port officials and making sure the containers are where they should be. It’s a small team here, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, from answering the door to filing the customs papers. The Mani Complex is a well-known spot, so people don't have too much trouble finding us. We usually have a bit of a rush in the middle of the day. The parking outside can be a bit of a mess with all the scooters and cars squeezed in. We just try to keep things moving and make sure the cargo gets to where it needs to go without too much fuss. It is a lot of routine work every day.
