You can find us at the Mani Complex, which is plot number 874 in Sector 8 of Gandhidham. It’s a busy part of town, especially with all the shipping work going on around here. The complex itself has a lot of different offices, so there’s always people moving back and forth. Our space is 222 Mani, and it’s usually piled with folders and shipping logs. Being in Kachchh, the sun is really strong, and the building gets quite warm by the afternoon. We do a lot of paperwork for the cargo moving through the port. It’s not very exciting work to look at, but it’s important to get the details right. We have a couple of old computers that we use for the manifests. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow, so we end up waiting around or making more tea. There is a small tea stall nearby that everyone from the complex goes to. We handle things for people who need to move stuff across the sea. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure the trucks arrive at the right time. The room is a bit cramped because of all the files we have to keep for years. We don't have any fancy carpet or bright lights. It's just a regular office where we get the shipping jobs done. Most days we are here until late evening making sure everything is ready for the morning.
