M R Shah Transport

You can find us at M. R. Shah Chamber, which is on Plot No. 355 in Ward 12/b. This part of Gandhidham Kachchh is dedicated to all sorts of transport businesses. Our office is M R Shah Transport, and it's a pretty straightforward setup. We have a few desks, some old filing cabinets, and a lot of logbooks. The phones seem to ring constantly with people asking about their shipments. We spend a lot of time looking at schedules and trying to figure out the best routes for the trucks. Outside the window, there is usually a line of vehicles waiting or moving through the dust. It’s a very dry and sandy place, so we are always dusting off the desks. We have a small water cooler that is very popular during the summer months. Most of the staff here have lived in Gandhidham their whole lives. We talk about the local news and the weather while we work. It isn't a very exciting job, but it is steady. We take pride in just being reliable and getting the work done without making a big fuss about it. Sometimes there are problems with the trucks or the roads, and we just have to figure it out as we go. That is just how the transport business works around here.
