We operate out of Maitri Bhavan at Plot No. 18 in Sector 8, right here in Gandhidham. If you know the Kachchh area, you know it’s all about the shipping and the port. Our day-to-day involves a lot of phone calls, tracking containers, and dealing with customs papers. It’s not the most exciting work to hear about, but it's important for getting goods from one place to another. The office is usually a bit chaotic with papers everywhere and someone always on the phone. We don’t have a big corporate manual. We just figured out how the shipping world works through years of doing it. Sometimes the ships are late or the weather in the Gulf of Kachchh gets rough, and then we have to scramble to fix things. It’s a practical job for practical people. We aren't trying to be the biggest shipping company in the world. We just want to make sure our clients' stuff gets where it’s supposed to go without too much trouble. Gandhidham is a dusty place with a lot of trucks moving around, and we fit right in. We’ve got a small team, and most of us have been working together for a long time. It’s a simple setup at Maitri Bhavan, but it works for us and our customers. Logistics is mostly just solving one problem after another until the cargo reaches the destination. That is what we do here every single day.
