If you go towards Gotri Jakat Naka in Baroda, you’ll find us at A-92 Radiatba Nagar-1. This is where Shilchar Electronics is based. The shop is full of wires, components, and tools that have been gathered over many years. It isn’t the kind of place that looks like a modern showroom. Instead, it is a bit messy with half-repaired gadgets and boxes of spare parts sitting on the floor. Gotri is a busy area, so there is always the sound of traffic coming from the Jakat Naka side. We have a small workbench where most of the work happens under a bright lamp. It gets a bit dusty because of the road nearby, but we try to keep the sensitive electronics clean. People from around Radiatba Nagar come in when their stuff stops working, and we take a look at it. It’s a very hands-on kind of life. There aren't any fancy uniforms or receptionists here. You just walk in and talk to whoever is behind the counter. Sometimes we have to tell people to wait a few days because we are waiting for a specific part to arrive from the other side of Gujarat. We’ve been in this spot for a long time, and we know the quirks of the building, like which switch works for which light. It’s a simple, honest electronics shop where we just do our daily repairs and move on to the next task.
