If you find yourself in Vasad, right across from the Grampanchayat, that’s where we are. We’ve been operating in the Anand district of Gujarat for a long time now. Our place, Electronics Mechanices, is pretty simple. We don't have big signs or anything flashy outside. Most people around here just know us by word of mouth. We deal with the mechanical side of electronics, fixing things up and making sure they work like they should. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. The heat in Gujarat can be tough, but we just keep the fans going and get through the repairs. Sometimes someone brings in an old piece of equipment that takes a while to figure out. We don’t mind the challenge. It’s better than sitting around doing nothing. We’ve seen the town grow and change around us, but the way we do things hasn’t shifted much. We use tools that have been with us for years. There’s a certain way we like to handle the gear that comes through the door. It’s not about being fast, it’s just about making sure the machine actually works when it leaves. We’re just locals helping other locals with their gadgets. It’s a quiet life here in Vasad, and we like it that way. No fuss, just steady work and good neighbors to talk to during the breaks.
