We run the Lalitpur Mahila Kisan Producer Company Limited from Gandhi Nagar. Our office is located at Ram Kishor Ricchariya’s place. It is mostly a group of women farmers from around the area coming together to manage our work better. Gandhi Nagar is a quiet spot, and having the office here makes it easy for us to meet up and discuss what needs to be done for the season. We aren't a big corporation with lots of staff. It is just us doing the daily tasks that come with farming and running a producer company. Usually, you will find someone here sorting out records or talking to the members about their crops. It is honest work, and we try to keep things as simple as possible. The address at Ram Kishor Ricchariya’s house has become our main point of contact. We don't really do much in the way of advertising or anything like that. Most people in Lalitpur know who we are through word of mouth. Working as a mahila kisan group means we support each other in the fields and with the business side of things. It can be a bit of a juggle sometimes with home life and the farm, but we manage. Gandhi Nagar is a good place to be based. We just keep going, day by day, making sure the collective is moving forward. It’s not fancy, but it works for us. We just focus on the harvest.
