We set up Suranagi Farmers Producer Companylimited in a spot that’s easy for most people to find. We’re at Plot No. 610/20 in Ward No. 4. It’s right near the Government Hospital in Suranagi, Lakshmeshwar Taluk. Having the office near the hospital means everyone knows the general area. We are just a group of farmers from around here who decided to work together. It’s not a big fancy operation with lots of employees. It’s mostly just a few of us handling the day-to-day stuff like registrations and keeping track of the harvest. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. We’re just people who know what it’s like to work in the sun all day. The office in Ward No. 4 is where we meet to discuss how things are going and what we need for the next season. It’s a simple room with some old files and a lot of talk about farming. We don’t use any big words or have a polished way of doing things. We just talk like we always have. Sometimes the office gets a bit crowded when a few of us show up at once, but we like it that way. It’s a community thing, really. We’ve been part of Lakshmeshwar Taluk for a long time, and this company is just our way of looking out for each other and the land we work on. It’s just a plain office near the hospital.
