About Sanganabasava International Residential School – Education in Gadag
We've been out here near Kavalagi Post for a good while now. It's a bit quiet out this way in Honnutagi, which is mostly fine except when you need something from the city in a hurry. Being a residential school means the place never really sleeps. There is always someone walking around or some noise coming from the dorms. The kids keep us on our toes, honestly. It’s a lot of work managing everything, from the food in the mess to making sure the lights stay on at night. Sometimes the weather gets really dry, and we have to worry about the water or the dust blowing in from the fields nearby. It’s not like those fancy schools you see in the big movies. It is just a place where kids live and try to learn something useful. We spend a lot of time just fixing small things that break. A door handle here, a leaky tap there. The staff stays on-site too, so we’re all like one big, slightly tired family. You get used to the rhythm of the place after a few months. The morning bell is loud, and the evenings are actually quite nice when the sun starts going down over the hills. We don’t have much to brag about, but we keep the gates open and the classrooms filled. It’s just what we do here in this corner of the world.
