We are located in Village Theri, specifically the Faqarsar area of Muktsar. It’s a rural setting, so the school is surrounded by fields. Depending on the time of year, you can see the crops growing right outside our boundary. Shishu Public School isn't a massive institution. It’s more of a local spot where the village kids come. The classrooms are basic, and we have a small office where we keep all the records. Life here follows the seasons. When it’s harvest time, sometimes the attendance drops a bit because families are busy. We understand that. The teachers are mostly from around this part of Punjab. We speak the local language and keep things down to earth. There’s a lot of open air, which is nice for the students when they go out to play. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, but we have books and teachers who care about what they're doing. The school day starts when the sun is up and ends in the early afternoon. We see the same faces every day, and we know most of the parents personally. It’s a tight-knit community here in Theri. We just try to keep a steady place for the children to learn their basics. Nothing too complicated, just a normal school in a quiet village that serves the local people as best as we can every day. That is the way we run things here at the school.
