Children Public School

Our school is down on Lalauli Road in Bindki. It’s a straightforward place, nothing too complicated about how we run things here. Since we are in Fatehpur, we get a lot of kids from the nearby areas and villages who travel in every morning. The road out front can get a bit muddy when it rains, but everyone manages to get through. We have a set of teachers who have been working here for a long time and they know the families well. It’s the kind of place where you know who belongs to which family just by looking at them. We don't have much in the way of high-tech stuff, just the basic desks, boards, and books. The kids spend their time in the classrooms and we have a bit of space outside for them to run around during the break. It gets quite warm in the summer months, so we try to keep the fans going as much as the electricity allows. Dealing with the paperwork and the daily chores of running a school keeps us on our toes. We don't put on any airs about being special. It’s just a place for the local children to come and study. Most days are pretty much the same, which is fine by us. We just try to keep the atmosphere calm and focused on the lessons. It’s a small town life and we are just happy to be a part of it.
