Automac Engineers

We are located on Bassi Road, which is right near the Ypass Chowk. If you’ve ever been stuck in traffic near that chowk, you might have noticed Automac Engineers. It’s a busy spot with a lot of trucks and cars going by all day long. Our workshop is filled with the smell of grease and the sound of machines running. We do a lot of engineering work here, mostly stuff that people from the local industries need fixed or built. It’s a bit of a gritty place, but that’s the nature of engineering. We don't have a fancy waiting room or a coffee machine for guests. Usually, you’ll find us bent over a lathe or welding something in the back. The walls have some old calendars and charts pinned up that have been there for years. We’ve been at this Bassi Road location for quite a while, and the locals know us as the guys who can figure out a mechanical problem. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but we always get back to it. It’s a lot of manual labor and technical thinking. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees; we're just a small team making sure things run right. The floor is stained with oil, and our clothes usually are too by the end of the shift. It’s just how it is. We’ve been at this for years and it suits us fine.
