We've been at this spot in Sitapur, near the Post Office in Lalru, for a long while now. It's an engineering setup, Jagdev Engg. Pvt. Ltd. People around here know where to find us. Usually, there's a lot of noise from the machines running throughout the day. We deal with various metal parts and mechanical jobs that come our way. Sometimes things get busy, and other times it's a bit slower, but the work keeps moving. The shop floor is always covered in a bit of oil and dust, which is just how an engineering place looks when people are actually working. We don't spend much time on fancy offices or decorations. Most of the guys here have been with us for years. They know the machines inside out. If someone walks in looking for a specific part or some repair work, we just see what can be done. It’s practical work. We started out small and stayed focused on the technical side of things. Lalru is a decent place for this kind of business because of the transport links. We mostly just stick to our schedules and try to get the orders out on time. There’s no big secret to how we run things; we just open the doors early and stay until the job is finished. It's a lot of grease and hard metal, nothing glamorous about it. We just keep the lathes and drills going and try to stay busy enough to keep the lights on and everyone paid.
