Rahul Traders

Rahul Traders is based in Chhibramau, which is in the Kannauj district. Our shop is located right near the Naveen Mandi Sthal. Because we are so close to the mandi, things stay very active. There are always tractors and carts passing by with crops and goods. We deal in various trading items, mostly stuff that the local shops and farmers need. The shop isn't very big, but we pack a lot of stuff into it. There are bags and boxes stacked up to the ceiling in some places. It can be a bit of a mess, but I know where everything is. My younger brother helps me out with the heavy lifting. We start our day early when the mandi opens. That’s when most of the people are around. Kannauj is famous for its perfumes, but we handle the more everyday trading goods. The shop has a small bench outside where friends often sit and chat. It’s a very social atmosphere here. We don't spend money on marketing or anything like that. Word of mouth is how people find us in Chhibramau. Some days are slow, especially when it’s too hot to be outside, but usually there is enough to do. We just focus on getting the right items to the people who need them. It’s a decent way to make a living in a town like this.
