Pawan Building Materials

We are over here at Plot No. 2 in Dariba East. If you are looking for us, we are right by the Nakhas Police Chowki, which makes it pretty easy to find the yard. The Valmiki Mandir is also a good landmark to tell people when they are trying to bring a truck in. Mostly we spend our mornings sorting through what came in the night before. It gets a bit crowded with all the cement bags and bricks piled up, but we manage. My brother usually handles the loading while I stay in the small office to deal with the paperwork and phone calls. Sometimes the dust from the sand gets everywhere, especially when the wind picks up near the temple. We have been in this spot for a while now. People from around the neighborhood know us by name, which is nice. We don't really do fancy advertising or anything like that. Usually, someone just walks in because they saw the sign or a neighbor told them where to get their supplies. It is a lot of heavy lifting and sometimes the accounts get a bit messy, but that is just how it goes in the building material trade. We try to keep things moving so the yard doesn't get too backed up. The traffic near the police chowki can be a headache in the afternoons, but we are used to it by now. Just a regular local shop trying to get the orders out on time.
