Delhi International School

Delhi International School is out in Baja Khana, Faridkot. Don't let the name fool you, we are right here in the local area. We have a decent-sized building with several classrooms for the kids. It’s a bit of a drive from the main town, so many of our students come by the school bus. We have a big playground where the kids spend their breaks. It gets very hot in the summer out here, but we have some trees for shade. The school day follows a pretty standard pattern. We start with an assembly and then move into the lessons. Our teachers come from different parts of the district. We use the usual textbooks and try to keep the kids focused on their exams. It’s a lot of work managing so many different grades. We have a small office where the parents come to pay fees or talk about their children. It’s not a high-tech place, just a regular school with whiteboards and desks. We've had a few repairs recently to keep the building looking okay. Life here is simple. We deal with the usual school problems like broken windows or lost books. It’s just about getting through the school year and making sure the kids are ready for the next grade. We've been part of the Baja Khana community for several years now.
