VED Tent House

VED Tent House is based in GTK Industrial Area 3. This is where we keep all our supplies. We have big stacks of iron poles, rolls of colorful fabric, and hundreds of chairs all piled up in our storage space. It’s a dusty area because of all the factories around GTK Industrial Area but we try to keep the fabrics covered so they stay clean for the events. Moving these things is heavy work. We spend a lot of time loading and unloading the tempos that take everything to various locations for weddings or local functions. It’s not just about the tents, we also have the carpets and the lighting stuff that goes with it. The crew is always busy fixing a tear in a curtain or repainting the poles when they get scratched. We don't really have a showroom. People usually just call us or come by the warehouse to see what we have available. It’s a lot of physical labor and the hours can be very long when there are many functions happening at the same time. We have to be quick with the setup and even quicker when it’s time to take everything down and bring it back here. It is a straightforward business and we have been doing it this way for a long time without making much of a scene. We just focus on keeping the gear ready for the next job.
