V. L. Tools & Gauges

Our workshop is at Plot No-57, Gali No-21, near the Punjab Rolling Chowk in Sanjay Colony. This is in Sector 23, and it’s a very busy industrial neighborhood. Finding Gali 21 can be a bit tricky if you aren't from around here because the lanes all look the same. There’s always the sound of grinding or metal hitting metal coming from somewhere nearby. Our place is full of heavy machines and tools. There’s oil on the floor in some places, so you have to watch your step. We have a small corner with a table where we keep the gauges and the measuring kits. Everything is covered in a thin layer of fine dust from the work. It’s a loud place, and we usually have to shout a bit to be heard over the noise. The Punjab Rolling Chowk is the main landmark we tell everyone to look for. We’ve been in this colony for years. It’s a gritty, hardworking area. We don't have an office staff as such; everyone here gets their hands dirty. We take our breaks sitting on some wooden crates outside when the weather is decent. It’s just a straightforward shop where we make things and fix things. We don't bother with anything fancy, just the tools and the work that needs finishing before we head home.
