Gopal Ji Plastic Bin & Crate

We spend most of our time over here at Plot No. -1D-2Bp in Sector 1. It’s right by Hardware Chowk. If you know where the Bhatia Guest House is, you basically know our location since we’re just a stone’s throw away from there. We keep a whole lot of plastic bins and crates stacked up because people around this part of town need them for all sorts of things. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty with all the traffic passing by the chowk, but that’s just how it is in this area. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. My hands are usually busy moving stuff around or checking what we have left in the back. People come in looking for a specific size of crate for their shop or maybe just a few bins for their own house. We just show them what’s available on the floor. It isn’t fancy here. We have stacks reaching the ceiling sometimes. We try to keep things organized but when a big shipment comes in, it gets a bit crowded for a day or two. Dealing with the heat in the summer is probably the hardest part of the job. We just keep the old fan going and talk to whoever walks in through the door. Most folks around Hardware Chowk know us by name now. It’s a simple setup. We open up early in the morning and stay until the sun goes down. If you’re driving past the guest house, you’ll see the plastic bins lined up outside. That’s us.
