Kumar Traders

Kumar Traders is located in Market No.1, which is always a bit of a mess with all the scooters and people moving around. We are over at House No. 1/D-42. It’s a bit hard to find if you don't know the area, so we usually tell people to look for Labh Davakhana. Being near a clinic means there are always folks waiting around outside our entrance. We started this because we needed a way to support our families, and the market was the place to be. Inside, it is usually crowded with boxes and papers. We don't have a fancy reception area. If someone comes in, they just pull up a plastic chair and we talk. It gets very hot in the afternoons, especially when the power goes out and the small fan stops. We try to keep everything organized, but with so many small items coming in and out, it gets messy pretty fast. My cousin helps out most days, and we just handle the orders as they come. There isn't any big philosophy behind what we do. We just buy things, sell them, and hope the margins are enough to pay the rent. Sometimes we make mistakes with the ledger and have to spend the whole evening fixing it. It is just a small shop life. We know most of the other shopkeepers around here, and we share tea when it’s quiet. We have been in this spot for years and don't plan on moving.
