Universal Engineers

You can find us in Ballabgarh at 132. We are an engineering workshop, so the place is usually full of the sound of metal being cut and the hum of machines. It’s an industrial area, and we fit right in with the rest of the shops around us. Our floor is concrete and always has a bit of oil or metal shavings on it, no matter how much we sweep. We don't have a big office with air conditioning. We just have a small desk in the corner where we keep the blueprints and the orders. Most of the time, we are on our feet working on different parts for local factories. We aren't a massive company with hundreds of workers. There are only a few of us here, and we’ve all been doing this for years. We wear heavy boots and overalls every day because that’s the only way to stay safe in a shop like this. The lighting isn't great, but we have some strong lamps over the workbenches. We don't bother with fancy slogans or big brochures. If someone needs something made or fixed, they come by and show us what they need. We talk it over, figure out the measurements, and get started. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Ballabgarh has a lot of places like ours, but we’ve managed to keep our doors open by just being steady.
