Our workshop is at Plot No-43, 16/2 on the Mathura Road. Being right on such a main road means it is never quiet. There is a constant drone of cars and trucks passing by outside our gate. Inside, we are usually busy with fabrication work. We have a couple of large lathes and some welding stations set up. The floor is usually stained with oil and there are metal scraps everywhere, no matter how often we try to tidy up. It is the kind of place where you have to watch your step. We spend most of our time looking at drawings and then trying to figure out the best way to cut the metal to match. Sometimes the measurements are tricky and we have to spend an hour just thinking before we start the machines. We have a small office box built into the corner of the shed where we keep the phone and the files. It's a bit cramped in there, but it keeps the paperwork away from the sparks. The heat from the welding can be a lot during the summer months, so we drink a lot of water and take breaks in the shade. We aren't a big corporation or anything, just a group of people who know how to handle tools and machinery. We take on whatever engineering jobs come our way and try to get them out the door on time.
