Super Aluminium

Over at 16/5 Mathura Road in the Karkhana Bagh area, you will find us working with metal all day. Super Aluminium is the name on the door, and it has been that way since the start. It is a pretty loud part of town to work in, but this is where all the workshops are, so we fit right in. We do a lot of cutting and fitting for different projects. The shop floor is almost always covered in those tiny silver metal shavings that seem to get stuck in your clothes and shoes no matter how careful you are. I have pretty much given up on trying to sweep the floor every single hour because it is a losing battle. We mostly deal with local builders and guys who are fixing up their own apartments. It is not very complicated work, just a lot of metal, some glass, and a good amount of sweat. We have some older machinery in the back that still runs better than the new stuff we bought last year. Sometimes we have to shout at each other just to be heard over the sound of the saws, but we get the orders filled eventually. Lunch is usually just us sitting on some empty crates in the shade. We do not have a fancy front office with air conditioning or anything like that. If you come by to visit, you will likely find us in the back actually doing the work.
