S.S. Engineering Enterprises

S.S. Engineering Enterprises is tucked away at Plot No. F-602 in S.G.M. Nagar. If you know the area, we are on K.C. Badkhal Road, right near Sharma Chowk and down Gurunanak Gali. It is a bit of a tight squeeze in the lane sometimes, especially when a delivery truck is trying to get through. Our shop is always noisy with the sound of machines running. We have been here for a while and the neighborhood has changed a lot around us. There is a lot of grease and oil involved in what we do, so the floors are never really perfectly clean. We just focus on the engineering work that comes in. Some days it is quiet and we just do maintenance, but most of the time we are pretty backed up with things to fix or make. It gets quite warm inside during the summer months, so we keep the big doors open to catch whatever breeze comes down the alley. People stop by all the time from the nearby shops to chat or borrow a tool. It is that kind of place. We don't have a receptionist or anything, you just walk in and find one of us near the lathes or the drills. We stay busy until late, usually trying to finish up a job before heading home. It is a regular engineering shop, nothing fancy at all, just a lot of hard work happening in S.G.M. Nagar.
