If you’re driving down G T Road in Dlf Phase-1, you’ll see our spot at No. 123. It’s a busy stretch of road, so there’s always noise and dust coming in through the front door when it's open. We’ve been running Sp Engineers from this location for years. The walls used to be a lighter shade of blue, but now they’re mostly covered in calendars and tool racks. We don’t have a big corporate lobby with leather chairs or anything impressive. Instead, we’ve got a couple of plastic stools and a table that’s seen better days. The guys usually have the radio playing some old songs while they work on the lathes in the back. It’s a practical setup. We spend most of our time looking at blueprints or fixing parts that people bring in from the industrial area nearby. Sometimes the traffic on G T Road is so bad we just stay late until it clears up. We aren't big on meetings or long emails. If something needs doing, we just get the tools out and start on it. The floor is concrete and has some oil stains that are probably permanent by now. There’s a tea stall just down the way that brings us snacks in the evening. It’s not a glamorous job, but we like being right here where the action is. We know most of the other shop owners on the block and we get along fine.
