Sondhi Engg. Works

At Sondhi Engg. Works, we are located right opposite the Railway Godown on Railway Road. Specifically, we are in Gali Imperial Auto, just off the Nh-5. Being so close to the tracks means we hear the trains going by all day long, but you stop noticing the noise after a while. Our workshop is a busy place where we handle all sorts of engineering repairs and fabrication. It’s a bit of a greasy environment, with tools scattered on the workbenches and the smell of welding in the air. We’ve been part of this little lane for quite a few years now. The guys who work here are local and we’ve all learned the trade by doing it day in and day out. It’s not the kind of business that has a fancy lobby; if you come to see us, you’ll probably find us in overalls covered in metal shavings. We like the location because being near the Nh-5 makes it easy for parts to be delivered and shipped out. We don't spend money on advertising or anything like that. Word usually gets around the Gali about what we do and how we work. It’s just honest, hard work and trying to make sure every job stays fixed once it leaves our hands. We just get on with it and try to stay busy throughout the week. It's a simple life for us here by the godown.
