Shriram Electrical Works

Starting early at Shriram Electrical Works is just how things go here in Lakkarpur. We are over at A-235 in Shiv Durga Vihar, and if you know the area, you know it gets pretty busy with people moving around all day. Most days involve a lot of wire, fuses, and testing stuff that isn’t working quite right. It is dusty work, and my hands are usually a bit dirty by the time lunch rolls around. We don't have a big fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. It's just a practical space where we keep all the tools and parts needed for electrical jobs. People from around the neighborhood stop by when their lights flicker or they need a new switch fixed in their house. Sometimes the heat in the workshop is a lot to handle, so we keep a fan going all day to stay cool. There isn't much to say about us other than we show up and do the work that needs doing. The shelves are packed with different rolls of cable and old boxes of components that we might need someday. We’ve been at this address for a while now. Shiv Durga Vihar has changed a bit over the years, but the nature of electrical work stays the same. You just have to be careful and make sure everything is connected properly. We spend a lot of time checking connections and making sure we didn't miss a spot. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s what we do.
