Shri Ram Tent House

We started this tent business from our house here at A87 in Sangam Vihar. It’s right on the main road, so it’s easy to find us if you are looking. Most of our work is helping out with local weddings or small gatherings people have in their homes or the nearby parks. We have a lot of different colored fabrics and poles stored in the back. Some days it is really hectic when there are three parties on the same night. Our crew is mostly just local guys who know how to set things up quickly before the guests arrive. We have chairs, tables, and the big tents too. Sometimes the fabric gets a little worn from the sun, but we try to keep everything looking decent. Living and working in Sangam Vihar means we know almost everyone on this block. It’s a busy area with a lot of noise from the main road, but that is just how it is. We do not have a fancy office or anything. You just come by the house, we sit down, and talk about what you need for your event. We usually write everything down in a big notebook. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it works for us and the people around here. If the weather is bad, we are out there making sure nothing blows away. It’s hard work, especially in the heat, but we enjoy being part of the community celebrations.
