Our shop is located at Shop No.1 in Dagar Bhawan, right at Jhajjar Chowk. It’s a very busy part of the area because we are right opposite Transport Nagar and near the Vikas petrol pump. If you’ve ever been stuck in traffic near Johar Factory, you’ve probably seen our sign. Shri Ram Chemicals & Metals is what we go by. We handle a lot of different industrial supplies, mostly chemicals and metal pieces. It’s a small shop but we pack a lot into it. There are containers and bags everywhere, and sometimes it's hard to find a place to sit down and have a cup of tea. Being across from Transport Nagar means there are always trucks moving around, which is good for our business but makes the air a bit smoky. We open up early and usually stay until the last delivery is sorted. It’s a lot of manual work, moving drums and heavy items around. The floor is concrete and seen better days, but it does the job. We don’t have any fancy sales people. It’s just us here, talking to the drivers and the factory managers who need supplies. Sometimes we get the order a bit wrong and have to swap things out, but we always make it right in the end. It's just a regular, gritty industrial supply shop. We’ve been at this spot for years and everyone around the chowk knows us. We just keep our heads down and do the daily work that is needed.
