Sharma Engg. Ind.

Our place is in Ballabgarg, over in the Faridabad district. We have been running Sharma Engg. Ind. from here for quite some time. If you know the industrial patches around Haryana, you know it gets pretty hectic. We do a lot of engineering work, mostly small parts and repairs that other companies need. The machines are old but they still run well if you treat them right. We usually start early in the morning before it gets too hot. There is always a pile of scrap metal in the corner that we need to clear out, but somehow it just keeps growing. It is a family-run kind of thing, so there isn't much hierarchy. We just do what needs doing. Sometimes a customer comes in with a drawing on a piece of scrap paper and we have to figure out how to make it work. It keeps things interesting, I suppose. The roads around here can be a nightmare during the monsoon, with all the mud and trucks getting stuck. But we manage to keep the shop running regardless. We don't have any big slogans or anything. We just take the orders, do the machining, and try to keep our head down. It is honest work and it pays the bills. Most people in the area know us by now, so we don't have to explain ourselves much. We just show up and start the motors.
