Located on Foy Sagar Road, right next to the Punjab National Bank, is where you’ll find us. That bank is a good landmark because people often get lost looking for the small shops around here. Sehmi Technique is the name on our door. Technical work occupies our time, mostly fixing and making parts. The shop isn't very large, but we’ve crammed many tools into it over the years. It’s a bit messy. Wrenches and bits of metal lie everywhere you look. Work starts early in the morning before the road gets too loud. If you come in, you might have to wait a second while someone finishes up on the bench. Fancy brochures don't exist here. Most people hear about us from their neighbors or other businesses nearby. Being near the bank means there’s always people walking past. Our focus stays on the work itself. If a machine breaks, we try to see why. Sometimes we have to order parts from elsewhere, which takes time. A couple of ceiling fans struggle in the heat, but we get used to it. It’s just us doing technical stuff day in and day out. Nothing complicated about it. We’ve been on Foy Sagar Road for quite some time now and know most of the regulars. We just keep at it and hope the machines keep running properly. It is honest work and it keeps the lights on for everyone involved.
