Farbe Surface Technologies

We spend most of our time down here in Sector 58. If you know the Electroplating Zone, you know it's not the prettiest place, but it's where the real work happens. At Farbe Surface Technologies, we handle a lot of metal parts that need coating or some kind of finish so they don't just rust away in a week. Our shop at No. 347 is usually pretty busy and loud. There’s always the smell of chemicals in the air and the sound of machines running. We aren't a big corporate office with fancy rugs; we just have our workstations and a lot of industrial gear. Most days it’s just us trying to get the batches out on time. Sometimes the heat in the workshop gets a bit much, especially during the summer months, but we just keep at it. We’ve been at this for a while now, and the neighbors in the zone are all doing similar stuff. It’s a practical kind of life. We don't spend much on decorations because honestly, they’d just get dusty. People come to us when they have parts that need a specific surface treatment, and we do our thing. We might get some grease on our shirts, but the work is solid. It’s just how things go in this part of town. We stay focused on the tanks and the finishing process until the day is done. We just keep our heads down and work.
