We work out of a place at 1595 in Sector 23. It is a bit different from the big industrial zones because this is a more regular neighborhood. Our space is usually filled with all sorts of materials and finished pieces that we are getting ready to send out. You might see stacks of cardboard boxes near the entrance or rolls of packing tape sitting on the tables. It is a bit of a mess sometimes, especially when we have a lot of new projects going on at once. We don't have a storefront where you can walk in and browse through aisles. Instead, it is more like a workshop where we get things done. The light comes in through the big windows in the front, which is nice on sunny days. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background while we work. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, except for the occasional car passing by or the sound of kids playing nearby. We spend a lot of time on our computers or handling the actual items we sell. It is a small operation, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the phone to sweeping the floor. There are no fancy uniforms here; we just wear whatever is comfortable for a long day of work. It is a simple setup, but it works for what we do. We like being in Sector 23 because it feels like a community.
