Intimate Fashions

We’ve been here at House No. 679 in Sector No. 17 for quite some time now. It’s mostly just us doing our thing every day. Most people know the house because we’ve stayed in this part of the sector for years. The neighborhood is usually quiet, but we keep busy inside with the clothes and the orders that come through. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that, just a regular place where we work. Sometimes the delivery trucks find it hard to spot the house number, so we have to go out and wave them down. It started out small, just a few of us wanting to do something with fashion, and we just stayed here. We don't really have a big sign out front, just the house number mostly. People stop by sometimes asking if this is the right place for Intimate Fashions. We tell them yes, come on in. It gets a bit crowded when new stock arrives and the living room area is full of boxes. My cousin helps out most afternoons after he finishes his other job. We drink a lot of tea while we sort through the different pieces. It’s a lot of work, keeping track of everything, but it keeps us off the streets. We don't really do much advertising, mostly just folks in Sector 17 hearing about us from someone else. It's a simple setup we've got going on here at 679.
