Gupta Showroom

If you go behind the Mother Dairy in Hauz Khas, you’ll find Gupta Showroom at 61/C. It’s a bit tucked away, so you might miss it if you aren’t looking closely. We have been in this spot for a while. The shop is filled with various items, and we try to keep things organized, though it doesn't always stay that way. Hauz Khas is a nice area, but our corner is quieter than the main market. We see a lot of the same faces every week. People coming by for their usual needs. It’s a family-run kind of thing. My uncle started it, and now we just keep it going. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't found the time yet. We handle the sales ourselves. Usually, there’s a newspaper on the counter and some tea nearby. We don’t do big sales or flashy displays. The window gets a bit dusty from the road, so we wipe it down when we remember. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, but we just wait it out. It’s a steady pace here. We know most of our customers by name. It’s not a corporate environment. Just a regular shop where we try to be helpful to the neighborhood. If you’re in the area for milk or groceries, you usually see us sitting out front in the afternoons when it's quiet. We enjoy being a small part of this local community and doing our daily work here.
