Empire Stores

Empire Stores is located at 25 Phagwara Road, right on National Highway 2. It is a very easy place to spot if you are traveling along the highway. We have been here for a good many years now, serving both the locals and the people passing through on their way to somewhere else. The shop itself is not very large or fancy. We just stock the basic things that people need on a daily basis. It is a handy spot because you don't have to go all the way into town to get what you want. The shelves are mostly full, but every now and then we run out of something because the supply truck didn't show up on time. That is just how it goes sometimes. The people working here are all from the local area. We know the roads and the traffic patterns well. On the weekends, the highway gets very loud and busy, but we just keep working through it. There is no background music or bright neon signs here, just a regular shop where we do our business. We open up pretty early in the morning and stay until late. It is a practical place for anyone looking for a quick stop. We don't try to be anything we are not. It is just a simple store on the side of the road that has been around for a long time.
