Sai Confectioners

We’ve been here at Sector 30 for a good while now, right near Water Tank 11. It’s a busy spot and people usually find us easily because of the tank. The shop gets quite warm in the summers when the ovens are running all day long. We start early in the morning, getting the dough ready and checking the stock. Most of the time, the floor is covered in a bit of flour and the smell of sugar is everywhere. It’s just a regular place where we make biscuits, breads, and some sweets. Sometimes the deliveries are late or the weather makes everything sticky, but we just keep going. Local kids come in after school for a small treat and the older folks stop by for their daily bread. We don’t have fancy chairs or anything, just a counter and the shelves filled with whatever we baked that morning. The fans hum all day trying to keep the place cool, but it doesn't always work. We know most people by their names since they live right around the corner. It's a simple life here, just weighing out ingredients and packing boxes. If you walk past the water tank, you can usually smell the vanilla or the spices. We don't spend much time on decorations. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but the ovens are what matters most to us. We just try to get the bakes right every single day. We are just here doing our thing.
