S. S. Kalsi Industries

Our workshop is located at 51/15 in the Industrial Area. A lot of people know us because we are right opposite the Eicher Factory in N.I.T. It’s a good landmark to give people who are lost. S. S. Kalsi Industries is basically a big workspace where we do a lot of heavy lifting and manufacturing. The building itself is older, and you can see the wear and tear on the walls. We’ve got machines that have been running for years, and they still do the job just fine. The noise from the Eicher Factory across the way blends in with our own machines. It’s a busy part of town. We don't have any polished floors or bright lights. It’s just a place where work gets done. Most of the guys here have been with us for a long time, so they know the routine. We don't use any fancy management software; we just write things down in ledgers and keep track of orders on a chalkboard. Sometimes it gets a little chaotic when we have a big batch of items to finish, but we always manage to get through it. The N.I.T. area is full of businesses like ours, so there’s always something going on. We just stay focused on our own bench and keep moving. It’s a straightforward life, working with metal and tools day in and day out. We just try to get the orders out on time.
