Hindustan Motors Manufacturing Co.

Hindustan Motors Manufacturing Co. operates out of the ground floor at House No. 533 in the Housing Board Colony of Sector 21 D. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it is a bit unusual to have a manufacturing setup here, but we make it work. We have converted the ground floor into a space for our machinery and assembly. The neighbors are mostly families, so we try to keep the noise down during the early mornings and late nights. You will see crates of parts stacked up near the entrance and the smell of machine oil is pretty strong once you step inside. We don't have a big corporate sign, just the house number on the gate. There are about five of us working here on a regular day. We spend most of our time at the workbenches putting things together. The space is a bit tight, so we have to be very organized with where we put the finished products. Sometimes the delivery van struggles to find a spot to park on the street because the Housing Board Colony is quite crowded with cars. We have a small desk in the corner for the billing and the phone, but most of the action happens on the shop floor. It is a practical, no-nonsense setup where we focus on getting the parts out on time. It feels like a small workshop because that is exactly what it is.
