Rawat Tempo Transport Service

Our place is tucked away in the basement of Pratap House over in Sant Nagar. It's pretty close to the Iscon Temple so the traffic around here can be a real headache on festival days. We have been doing tempo work around East of Kailash for a long time. The office isn't much to look at, just a basement room with some old furniture and a lot of maps on the wall. We spend most of our day on the phone coordinating with drivers or dealing with the Delhi traffic updates. It gets a bit cramped when everyone comes back at the end of the day to settle the accounts. We handle all sorts of small moves, whether it is someone shifting their flat or a shop needing to move some stock. Being near the GPO helps with some of the logistics stuff too. We aren't a big corporation or anything like that. It is just me and a few guys who know how to handle these tempos. Sometimes the trucks break down or the roads are blocked, and we just have to figure it out as we go. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning till night. If you're looking for us, look for the sign near the basement stairs. We are usually there unless we are out on a delivery. The walls are a bit damp and the lighting isn't great, but it serves its purpose. We keep a stash of biscuits for when the drivers come back hungry. It is just how we run things here in this basement.
