We are right here in the Ballabgarh Anaj Mandi, so you can imagine it gets pretty dusty and crowded with all the trucks and tractors coming in. My family has been running these tempos for a while now. We mainly handle the local hauling around the market area but we go further out if someone asks. It is hard work, starting early before the sun is even up most days. The office is small and usually filled with the smell of diesel and grain from outside. We have a couple of reliable vehicles that we try to keep in decent shape despite the rough roads around here. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially when it rains and the ground turns to mud, but we manage to pull through. You won't find any fancy brochures here, just us and our keys and the logbooks. People know where to find us because we have been in the same spot for years. If you need something moved from the mandi or just around town, we are usually sitting near the entrance. It's a simple life and a simple business. We just focus on getting the load from one point to another without too much fuss. Most of our regular customers are the local traders who have known us since we were kids. They trust us because they know we are just hardworking people like them. We drink our tea and wait for the grain auctions to finish so we can start loading up for the afternoon deliveries. It's a lot of waiting followed by a lot of heavy lifting.
