Rawat Sound & D J

If you are near Nangaljaat in Palwal, you might hear us before you see us. Rawat Sound & D J is all about the speakers and the music. We have those huge black boxes stacked up in our storage area. It is a loud business, literally. We go out to weddings, festivals, and local parties around the Howdal area too. My brother and I started this because we like music and we know how to wire things up so they don't catch fire or fail mid-party. It is a lot of work to load the heavy amplifiers and speakers onto the back of a small truck. Then we have to set them all up and make sure the sound is clear, not just loud enough to shake the windows. We spend many nights out until 2 or 3 in the morning because the party just won't end. Then we have to pack it all back up while everyone else is sleeping. The equipment gets beat up a lot on the bumpy roads, so I spend my weekdays soldering wires or fixing loose connections in the back room. We don't have a fancy office, just a garage full of gear and some posters of singers on the walls. People come to us because they know we will show up on time and the bass will be strong for their dance. It’s a tiring job but it beats sitting in a cubicle all day long.
