Rajan Engg. Works

Rajan Engg. Works is located at SSI, Plot No.-12, N.H. 2, in the NIT area. Being right next to National Highway 2 means there is never a quiet moment. The sound of heavy trucks and horns is the background music to our entire workday. Plot No.-12 is a large industrial space where we do all our engineering and metal fabrication. The floor is made of thick concrete to handle the weight of the machines and the raw iron we use. We’ve been here in the NIT zone for many years and have seen a lot of other businesses come and go. Our shop is a bit dark inside, but the bright flashes from the welding torches light it up constantly. We don't have any polished brochures or a fancy sales team. Most of our work comes from people who see us while they’re driving on the highway or through word of mouth. It’s a dusty place, and we all have soot on our clothes by the end of the shift. We usually have a pot of tea going in the small corner that serves as our office. It’s a place where we value hard work and getting the job done right rather than how the building looks from the outside. The highway makes it very easy for us to receive large deliveries of steel. We like the practicality of being at this location. It’s a tough environment, but it’s where we belong.
